This set of tiles was produced at the Caldas da Rainha Faience Factory, founded by Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro. It features naturalistic, geometric and architectural motifs, with reliefs and glazes in various colors. The themes include plant elements, patterns inspired by Islamic art and varied decorative shapes. These tiles were used in wall coverings in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
