Pair of blue and white faience pinecones, produced at the Devezas Factory in the 19th century. Set on quadrangular bases inscribed with “Fábrica DEVEZAS,” “PORTO,” and “J P Valente,” the pieces feature a carefully embossed surface, characteristic of Portuguese ceramic decoration of the period. These objects, with a strong architectural presence, were traditionally used as decorative finials on gates, walls, or building tops. Unique Piece
