Sintra In the interior, 18th-century tile panels with individual figures were used to cover the walls of various rooms, along with panels depicting flower vases and urns (albarradas and jars) from the same century in the corridors and staircases. In a secondary pantry, the walls were entirely clad with a patchwork of 18th-century individual tiles. In the outdoor area, several 18th-century hunting panels decorate the garden. Stone vases and a central fountain, also from the 18th century, set among low hedges, complete the garden’s decoration
